The SAM Chest Seal is engineered to preserve life with an easy, simple application method. This product seals and reseals chest wounds and meets the guidelines issued by the United States Tactical Combat Casualty Care, which recommend that "all open and/or sucking chest wounds should be treated by immediately applying a vented chest seal to cover the defect. If a vented chest seal is not available, use a non-vented chest seal." Our product features a TRUFLOW™ valve and a strong hydrogel adhesive to ensure a safe, effective seal.
